Polecat Blur sits between a spatial processor and a texture engine. It smears, scatters, and dissolves sources into a surround field, then lets you animate that field over time. Use it to build suspended tones, moving atmospheres, game-world ambiences, and other sound-design material where placement and motion are part of the sound.

Its circular panner gives you direct control of position, while Width, Depth, and Height shape how material occupies the field. An eight-channel mixer provides independent level control; four delay lines support per-channel routing; and the integrated filter, modulation routing, controller assignments, and preset system make the instrument practical in an ongoing session rather than a one-shot effect.
